Padbury Pre-school is run from a purpose designed facility within the village primary school. Situated in Buckinghamshire, on the Winslow-Buckingham road (A413), we offer easy and convenient access to families from Buckingham, Winslow and surrounding villages.

Our aim at Padbury Pre-school is to focus on the whole child by providing quality education for children aged two to five years old. “Leadership of the setting is strong and this ensures good outcomes in all areas of the setting’s activities” (Ofsted, May 2009). We provide a safe and nurturing environment in which our children and families feel welcome and comfortable to learn. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum that caters for each child’s needs as they develop and grow. Our daily activities are planned around the children’s play as recommended by the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We work in partnership with parents to help increase knowledge, understanding, skills and experiences in child growth and development. Furthermore, we work together with parents to identify and reinforce experiences in the home that relate to educational activities. This partnership has been identified by Ofsted as a “strong feature of the provision” (May 2009). We recognise the value of each individual child and encourage them to achieve by developing their full potential.
